Dr Kelly Pereira, ECORI

Dr. Pereira is a native resident of Fall River, Massachusetts.  She received her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.  She attended the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, where she received her Doctor of Optometry degree.  During that time, Dr. Pereira was invited to become a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, two internationally recognized optometric honor societies.

 

She subsequently completed a yearlong residency focusing on primary care and ocular disease, where she worked closely alongside other optometrists and ophthalmologists in various subspecialty clinics including anterior segment, glaucoma, retina, and uveitis.


Dr. Pereira is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and American
Optometric Association.  Her clinical interests focus on primary care, management of ocular diseases including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and co-managing with other health care providers.  She provides fitting for basic and specialty contact lenses including multifocal/toric soft lenses as well as rigid gas permeable and scleral lenses.


In her free time, Dr. Pereira enjoys traveling, especially to Portugal, and trying new
restaurants.  She is fluent in Portuguese and can speak Spanish.  Dr. Pereira is dedicated to specialized and educated patient care.  She utilizes a kind and active approach to make each patient experience unique.
